ICT Support Services

Staff from Research Computing Services are able to provide assistance in a number of areas. In High-Performance Computing, they can advise users at all stages of their work, from algorithm design and programming methodology through to optimization and analysis and presentation of results. (They are not available for actual programming.) The Computer Visualization Facility provides resources and expertise with modelling, animation and rendering in both Artistic and Scientific areas. The AccessGrid Node is a high-end video-conferencing and collaboration facility.

Staff may also be able to collaborate with users in development projects where there is clear benefit to other users.
